Chairman

Mr. Wangai is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya with extensive experience in provision of auditing, accounting and business advisory services acquired during his 34 years with two of the big 4 professional services firms, Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, both from the University of Nairobi.

Mr. Wangai retired from Deloitte East Africa in 2018 after serving the firm for 21 years as a partner. His key leadership roles at Deloitte included 15 years as the leader of the Audit and Assurance Business unit.

Mr. Philip Lopokoiyit is the CEO of ICEA LION Group, based in Nairobi, Kenya. He was previously the CEO of ICEA LION General Insurance company having joined the Group in September 2021. He has a wealth of experience in Finance, Risk Management and Corporate Governance, having worked for over 20 years in various senior management capacities in multinational companies. Philip holds a BCom from the University of Nairobi and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya.
